Sonoma County Airport now offers free Wi-Fi!

Free access to wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) is now offered at the Airport. Courtesy of Sonic.net, travelers and visitors to the Airport can read email, conduct business, play games, or check the weather while waiting for their flight to depart. The new hot spot includes the terminal lobby, passenger hold building, Sky Lounge Restaurant and their patio, the breezeway, and limited areas in front to the terminal. Airport staffer Lidia Herbert is pictured above using the computer on the patio by the airfield.

"We're pleased to provide another amenity for travelers as a way to differentiate Sonoma County Airport from airports that charge for Wi-Fi service. STS is convenient and easy to use; free Wi-Fi is another benefit to flying from STS," Jon Stout, Airport Manager, remarked.

Although many hot spots charge fees to users, the Airport service is free. Sonic.net agreed to provide the service at no charge to Airport users as a means to expand offerings to customers in Santa Rosa and to seize an opportunity to create awareness and name recognition at the Airport.
